Multicultural Arts Victoria has championed culturally diverse artists and communities for more than 50 years. We create opportunities for artists to develop their practice, share their stories and shape Australia’s cultural future.
Multicultural Arts Victoria (MAV) has spent more than 50 years creating opportunities for culturally diverse artists and communities to make work, build connections and share stories. Evolving from the Festival of All Nations, we continue to support artistic practice through professional development, creative projects, partnerships and advocacy.
MAV believes artists and communities from diverse cultural backgrounds are essential to Australia’s cultural future. Through artist development programs, creative projects and sector advocacy, we support practitioners at every stage of their careers to develop new work, build networks and connect with audiences.
We are committed to fostering a more representative, equitable and connected cultural sector, and are proud to be part of the community of artists and organisations based at Balam Balam Place.
