Pressed Flower Art Frame Workshop
~ Create your very own piece of nature you can keep forever ~
Unwind and immerse yourself in the simple beauty of nature through the art of pressed flowers. Guided step-by-step, you’ll discover how to transform delicate pressed flowers and botanicals into a beautiful piece of botanical art, thoughtfully composed and uniquely your own.
Explore colour, shape, texture and composition as you select and arrange flowers, petals, stems and foliage to create a one-of-a-kind artwork displayed in an elegant double-glass floating frame.
What we’ll cover:
- Introduction to the art of flower pressing, including how to prepare fresh flowers and practical tips on pressing techniques to help achieve beautiful results and preserve their natural colour at home.
- Discover how to carefully reconstruct individual pressed petals to recreate a flower in bloom.
- Learn the principles of colour, balance and composition to create an aesthetically pleasing botanical arrangement.
- Work step-by-step to design and assemble your own personalised pressed flower artwork in a double-glass floating frame.
Enjoy a calm and welcoming creative experience designed to help you slow down, switch off and reconnect with nature through the joy of making something by hand.
No artistic experience is necessary. Whether you’re a passionate flower lover, a creative beginner, or simply looking for a beautiful and relaxing activity, you’ll be supported throughout the process.
Simply bring yourself and your creativity.
All flowers, botanicals, materials, tools and equipment needed to create your artwork will be supplied.
~ The selection of pressed flowers and botanicals is curated seasonally and may vary from workshop to workshop. While some of the flower varieties shown in the inspo images may not be available on the day, a wide range of pressed flowers and botanicals is provided for you to choose from. ~
