Plot for Beginners – A friendly workshop at Balam Balam Place, Brunswick 3056 presented by Andrew McGowan, a writer and former manuscript editor from Corella Press in Queensland. 

In this beginner-friendly session we’ll unpack Propp’s character functions, Bremond’s action sequences, Booker’s seven basic plots and their variations, and show you how to use them to create fiction that feels satisfying and has real publication potential.

We will be meeting every week. Come with curiosity, your own writing materials, and a willingness to write!
